Sol International has an address of 117 Heffernan Avenue so this theater should have been on the other side of the street. It could be one of the buildings on the right side of the second photo.
114 Heffernan is a business called Biomedics, where you can donate blood.
And where would “Biomedics” be in the photo?
I can’t see it. I will see if there are any more Calexico photos around. I was there a couple of years ago, but no camera.
The September 4, 1937, issue of Boxoffice Magazine had this item: “The Azteca Film Corp. has a theatre under construction in Calexico which will be ready for business in about six weeks. Frank Ullman, El Centro exhibitor, will operate the house.”
