Rosehill Theatre

Viewing: Photo | Street View

The Rosehill Theatre was a project of Sir Nicholas Sekers. It is built close to his house, located to the north of Whithaven. Opened on 3rd September 1959, initially it was used for live theatre performances. Seating is provided for 120 in the stalls and 88 in the circle.

In June 1998, projection equipment was installed and the theatre now screens first run movies as well as live productions, in this rather remote area of England’s beautiful Lake District.
