The Capitol Theater opened in 1929 and was destroyed in a suspicious fire in 1968. A Post Office now occupies the site where the former Capitol Theater was located.

The address for the Post Office is 950 Chestnut Street. I don’t know if the theater would have used the same exact address. This site has additional information and a photo of the Capitol Theater.

This theater was directly across Chestnut Street from the Victory Theater.
