The Rivoli was in operation from at least the early 1940s until its closure in 1973.

The Rivoli is listed in the 1940 Film Daily Yearbook with 375 seats. In the same year, there is also a 400 seat Colver Theater listed as closed.

Lost Memory, the same information is also listed in the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook. It apparently took the editors of the FDY a while to remove a theater after it closed. By the 1951 FDY, it’s just the Rivoli listed (with a seat count of 391).

I also noticed that they were a little slow to update those books. The Colver Theater is also listed in 1935 with 348 seats. At that time it is the only theater listed for Colver, PA. The Colver is most likely another theater.
