Designed by Bill Landry and opened in 1939. Seating was provided on one level. The Capitol Theatre was lost in a fire October 1965.

What a nice surprise to come home from work and find an email that has The Capitol Theatre here. The Theatre was part of B & L Theatres. One of the Largest Independent Theatre Chains at the time.

Thank you again for including the Capitol.

Empire Theatres has a new Capitol in the new building where the original Capitol once stood.
