In 1950 the Eagle Theater was open, showing movies and situated in a clean tan brick building. It had a white, pointed marquee with "Eagle" spelled out in black letters highlighted with neon. Under the marquee was an outside ticket booth, recessed entrances and movie poster frames.

Your real funny.
If you’re (note) going to use the possessive, you have to indicate what I’m possessing, i.e. “your real funny aunt just had a stroke”. Otherwise you have an incomplete sentence. Since I am now cluttering up the listing, I will leave it at that.
And remember, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Both of you boys are “cluttering” up our listing! Only joking, all comments are appreciated.
I almost never indicate open or closed on a listing, only what was going on when a photo was made (if available).
However, Cinema Treasures does at times “subjectively” change information which is a right they reserve and exercise.
Don…
1985 photo of the Eagle Theatre. At least it was open and looked in good shape in 1985. When you google it, it comes up Eagle Theatre but doesn’t say open or closed.

Roadside Oklahoma shows recent views of the streamline Eagle Theatre.
This is recent street view of the Eagle Theatre. Strange, why does only one side of the marquee have movie listings?

The Eagle is open and showing movies. Currently playing is Cars 2.
The Cinema Section of Roadside Oklahome is closed, they no longer have theatre photos according to the site.
This theatre location appeared on fire insurance maps as early as 1925.
Another theater was located on the west side of 2nd Street between Oak and Division on 1914 and 1925 maps. Unfortunately, I don’t have a name to match with this theatre as of yet.
