The Walnut Park Theatre was a first run movie theatre operating since at least 1941 at the corner of NE Union Avenue (now Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) and NE Alberta Street. In later years it became a second run movie theatre and closed after operating as an adult porn cinema.
Since closing it become a church and then was converted into office space. By 2008, it had been demolished.

No longer office spaces, it was demolished, and the site has now been rebuilt on.
Does anybody have any pictures of this place?
The year given for this photo is 1974.
The building was demolished sometime after June 2003, and is currently a vacant lot owned by the Portland Development Commission.
The development is the Vanport Square building just to the north – a local film buff shows some of his collection of ephemera in the Old Town Pizza on Monday nights.
