Is this the church/theater that was on N Albina just north of Killingsworth that PCC forced to move move and then demolished the building in there expansion?
I went to look at the old building today—what I expected to see was the Albina Church of God—but the building is gone now. In it’s place is a corner of the Portland Community College (PCC) Cascade Campus; the building now standing on the ground is called the Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building.
A Kimball theater organ size 2/7 was installed in Hudson’s Colonial Theater in 1924 at a cost of $8,800. The organ was upgraded in 1926. Additions: Kinura, xylophone, and piano, costing $1,805.
