A medium sized (approx 800 seat) Art Deco style cinema, the Roxy has (in May 2008) an application for demolition pinned to the frontage. A mixed use building will be built on the site that contains offices & shops, a community centre, apartments and garages.

After closing as a cinema it was converted into a bar known as the Roxy Hall.
