This is a circa 1935 ad for the Orpheum Theater.

According to the Fulton Leader: “Chisholm (Levi Chisholm) and his wife opened the Orpheum Theatre in 1911. It could seat 500 people and was considered the finest theatre in the state of Kentucky outside of Louisville. After his death, stories circulated that Chisholm still walked inside the theatre”.

In the late-1930’s the Orpheum was operated by Warner Bros. and then later by Malco Theatres until its closing in the mid-1960’s.
