Rialto Cinema

Viewing: Photo | Street View

The Rialto Cinema was designed by architect F.J. Macaulay and after taking just six months to build it opened on 5th November 1936 with Harry Roy in “Everything is Rhythm”. It closed in August 1970 and the following year was converted into a car showroom. This had closed by July 2014 and the empty building suffered from a fire in January 2015.
