A project of Cineplex Odeon, this opened as the 6-screen Cannon on 31st August 1990. It was soon re-branded MGM in 1991. It then became the Virgin in 1995 and then UGC. It was re-branded Cineworld in November 2005.

Seating capacities in the screens range from 317, down to 218.
