Located in Temuka, near South Canterbury on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Opened in the 1880’s as Temuka Town Hall. In 1922 it became the Dominion Cinema. By 1951 it was the Elite Cinema, operated by South Canterbury Picture Co. Ltd.

It was used as a second-hand furniture store from 1970. It was demolished in early-2010

Opened in July 1922 as the Dominion and closed as the Elite on January 31, 1970 following the death of the operator.
