The 9-screen UCI was officially opened by film star Britt Ekland on 25th September 1991. It is located in the Galleria shopping centre, which is actually built on top of a tunnel containing the A1(M) motorway. It was taken over by Odeon Theatres in October 2004. Seating capacities in the screens range from 378, down to 167.
