Located in the Lenton district of Nottingham, the 11-screen Showcase Cinemas were opened by National Amusements Inc. on 16th June 1988, and was their first multiplex cinema to be built and opened in the UK. The cinema was equipped to screen 70mm presentations. In 2002, two extra screens were added.
