Located at Portsmouth’s historic dockyard, the No. 6 Cinema is located inside the 1846 built, Grade II Listed No. 6 boathouse.

It opened to the public in 2001 as an independent art house and mainstream cinema. Films are screened in the evenings. It was closed on 2nd March 2011, for a six month period for the owners to consider its future.
