Lyric Cinema Cafe

This is a very unique independent theatre located in an aging building in the Old Town area of Fort Collins, Colorado. The building that was once a drive-through cleaners is now a low-key theatre and cafe that features current independent films. The atmosphere matches the independent spirit of the films it shows with its minimalist furnishings and take-or-leave-it attitude. Filled with vintage seats from old movie theatres and comfy couches up front, this is a fun place to see a movie. There is a cafe in front and they serve alcoholic beverages. The first movie I saw there was delayed because the still-in-training projectionist burned the film in the projector. That would usually be a bad thing, but it just made me feel more at home.
