Google won’t map the Malanda location. It should be Mareeba as it is given on their website. Speaking of their website, there is a history page which you can’t see on the main page for some strange reason. Click here for the history page.

I know that Google returns the Eacham Place, Malanda address, but what is the 33 Martin Avenue, Mareeba address on the Majestic website for?

I would say the Martin Avenue address is the owner’s address. The Majestic is definately located in Malanda, its listed in the Film Weekly-Motion Picture Directory 1951-52. There was a cinema in Mereeba called the Capitol Theatre (600 seats) listed in the same edition. By 1994, there was no cinema operating in Mereeba.

I understand. I thought that the website was giving the address of the theater on their website. I haven’t found any mention of a Capitol Theatre. I had enough trouble with this one. LOL
