Located in an area to the East of the city centre. The 7-screen Cannon opened on 28th April 1989. Taken over by the Virgin Group in July 1995, it was re-branded Virgin. Taken over by UGC in October 1999 it was re-branded UGC. The UGC was re-branded Cineworld in July 2005.

Seating capacities in the screens range from 434, down to 132.
