The Lyric Theater was yet another early period movie palace that opened in 1909 and became a victim of the disastrous downtown fire in 1916. It was situated on the same spot now occupied by the "Plaza" (Paris Community Theatre) as of 2/09.
Claude Mussleman added the Lyric to his growing theater empire in 1914.
