Lillian Walker opened the all new Savage Theater March 22, 1939 one week after its next door neighbor, the Metro Theater had reopened. Employees at the opening date were Bill Farley and Thelma Haley.
Both theaters enjoyed long successful runs and closed in the mid-1950’s.
