The Fairyland Theatre was operated by Mr. Ed Aylward for an African American Audience. They had a new program daily. The new theatre featured both motion pictures and live shows.

The theatre is now a retail store "American Apparel".
I couldn’t find a time line.

Chuck….The Fairyland was operating in 1908. It might have been a Nickelodeon.

LM, was it called the Fairyland at that time? I got my notes mixed on two theatres and one had an AKA.

I believe that it was known as the Fairyland in 1908. I don’t know if it had another name or how long it operated.
