Freemantle Hall

The Freemantle Hall was screening films by 1913. By 1925, it was listed as operating on a Saturday night only, and could have been in use as an overflow hall for the nearby Palace Cinema, also owned and operated by Harry Quinton.

The building went from cinema use around that time. It was still standing in a derelict condition in November 1998, awating demolition. It has since been restored and is now in use as a fitness centre.
