The Roxy Theater has been Newport’s first run theater since 1951. Locally owned and operated bringing Hollywood to Newport and surrounding communities 6 nights a week. Interior and Exterior are as they were back in 1951, Beautiful and well maintained.

Newport Roxy has been at this location since 1951. Feb 29, 2012 Newport Roxy’s 1934 carbon arc 35 mm projectors played thier final movie. Newport Roxy went from 1 screen to 3 screens and is now Barco 2k Digital projection with 5.1 digital surround sound. Come experience small town with the show of the big city.

Yes indeed! The next time I go to Spokane I have every intention of making a visit! Yours is a theater I have not photographed or seen a movie at yet!
