The early movies came to Mineral Point in the 1910’s. The Palace Theatre, upstairs in the US Hotel addition, began as a regular theatre called the Mystic Theatre, but converted to movies shortly thereafter.

It was gone by 1924. The building is now occupied by an art gallery.
