The Majestic Theatre opened in 1922 with seating listed at 340. By 1941 it was listed with 500 seats, and was still open in 1950 with 494 seats. It was located on S. Washington just south of E. Cedar Street. It was a block and a half from the original Rialto Theatre.

The building has been demolished and is now a drive up for BancCorp South. Couldn’t find when it closed. This was one of eight theatres in the downtown section of El Dorado. Information obtained from the Arkansas Historical Society magazine.
