The Nabor Theatre was opened in 1946, at a cost of over 70,000 dollars. Built for the Kirby Theatre Corporation, the Art Deco style house seated 587 on a stadium plan, with a raised section at the rear. The theatre was located on Wright Avenue at Marshall Street.
No time line was given for the closing but the building now houses the Islamic Center.
