Milo Theater

The Chic Theater opened in 1913. The name was changed to the Milo Theater in the 1930’s. The Milo Theater closed in 1957. The building was destroyed in a fire that occurred on September 14, 2008.

sad to hear that this got burned most have been a nice theatre.

The Theatre Historical Society archive has the MGM Theatre Report for the Milo Th., it’s Card # 411. Address is Main St. There is an exterior photo taken March 14, 1941. Condition is Poor. The report says it opened about 1913 and was showing MGM films. There were 250 seats on the main floor and 76 in the balcony, total 326. 1940 population was 3,000.

Some more data on the Chic Theatre, The Milo Historical Society has a photo of an audience in their seats, main floor and balcony.
