The Thoroughbred Theater operated as a movie theater from 1916 and into the 1950’s. After closing as a movie theater the building was used for retail. The building has been renovated and opened as a community theater in 2004.

This theater might have been previously known as the Midway Theater but that information isn’t given on their website. Here is a May 2009 article.
LM it was originally known as the Midway Theatre before being renamed the Thoroughbred.
