I read that the Masonic Temple building was designed by Dodd & Cobb and built in 1902. Here is a photo that was taken during the demolition.

Built in 1902 and known as the New Masonic Theater. The Strand Theater closed in 1952 and was demolished four years later.

The Dodd of the architecutral firm Dodd & Cobb was William J. Dodd, who later moved to California, where he designed the Kinema Theatre in Los Angeles.
