This was the local cinema in Aberavon, a seaside suburb of Port Talbot. Opened as a live theatre by Leon Vint in around 1910/1911, it was equipped to screen films. By 1922, it was operated by Max Corne. The Palace Cinema was still open in 1937, but closed soon after, and was listed as (Closed) in 1944.
It became a David Evans store which operated for many years. The former Palace Cinema was demolished in 1972.
