The Parkway Theater opened in 1921. A Moller organ opus 3184 was installed that year. In the 1930’s this theater was known as the Loew’s Theater. Around 1941 the name was changed to the Ritz Theater.
The Ritz Theater was closed by 1962.

Here is an small undated photo of the Ritz.
Can anyone give me info on the Cinemart on Gov Prinz? I can’t find any info anywhere, but, I stop to look at it every time I’m in the area. What a mystery. The only thing I can tell is that I was built in the 60’s due to the chandelier and font on the front sign.
