At 5.00 am on most summer mornings the Palladium’s Chief Projectionist, John Hughes (John Palladium) (left) and Manager, Jack Lewis would be out in Cardigan Bay fishing for mackerel and tending their lobster pots. They’d be back ashore by 9.00am for a full day at the Palladium which didn’t finish until the end of the Second House at 10.30 pm each night.
