This photo of the Palladium was taken sometime between 1960 and 1964. The building in the foreground is part of Russell Bros Garage,and like the Palladium is also demolished. It would not be possible to photograph from this angle today , as the Spar supermarket now stands on the garage site covering the gap.

Great photo – and so much of its time. That looks like an Austin Cambridge in the foreground.
