The Fox Opened in May of 1967. The Fox was built by Fox Intermountain Theatres as part of a 50 Million dollar expansion program to add 100 new theatres to their chain. The Fox Theatre in Provo was almost identical to the Fox Cottonwood Mall Theatre in Salt Lake City. Where the Fox in Provo once stood is now a Mc Donalds.
