The UA Cinema 1 & 2 opened July 21, 1971 with seating listed at 600. The theatre was located in the Market Square Shopping Center. It was operated by United Artists Theatres when it opened and in 1990 it was operated by Goodrich Quality Theatres who changed the name to Market Square Theatre.
After just 8 years of operation the theatre closed in 1998 and has since been converted to retail.

This opened as UA Cinema 1 & 2 on July 21th, 1971. The Jerry Lewis theatre was a separate theatre. Grand opening ads in the photo section.
