Located in Richmond upon Thames, Surrey, to the west of todays' Greater London. The Queen’s Hall was built in 1900 as a Freemason’s Club. In 1911, it was taken over by the Wright Brothers, and they began screening films. The hall had a small stage and a proscenuim, and was used for varous other types of entertainment. It had many names during its cinematic life.

It closed in 1921, and was converted into a billiards hall. In 1944, it was converted into the Richmond Community Centre. Occasional film use continued into the 1950’s when the Richmond Film Society held screenings in the hall. It was demolished in 1986 and a Waitrose supermarket now stands on the site.
