The State Theatre opened in 1940 with seating listed at 500. When the theatre opened it was operated by J.F. White Theatres folowed by B&L. Theatres and finally Consolidated Theatres.
The State Theatre closed in 1955 and has since been demolished. Any further information on the State Theatre would be appreciated.
