Located in the rejuvinated Darling Harbour district, close to Sydney city centre. The IMAX Theatre was opened in early-1988.

Boasting ‘the largest IMAX screen in the world’, the cinema today plays regular first run feature films as well as IMAX documentaries, and is equipped with 3D Digital.
