The Cinema ‘N Drafthouse was a modern single-screen movie theatre in a small shopping center in Tempe (suburb of Phoenix), Arizona. It was built c.1984 and showed first or second run mainstream films through at least 1985.

It has since closed and the space is now occupied by the Tempe Improv Comedy Club.

I remember when it first opened in 1984. It was located in a small shopping center called the Cornerstone. My family watched a movie there before we walked over to Sun Devil Stadium to watch the football game. It didn’t have traditional seating,(drafthouse), Nice, small place to watch a movie.
