This 11-screen cinema is located at Mill Avenue and 7th Street. It was closed by Harkins Theatres chain in July 2007 when they opened the new Harkins Tempe Marketplace 16.

In 2009, it was taken over by the Mill Avenue District Community Arts Project(MADCAP), for use as a live performance venue, with some film use to be added in the future. Initially, only 3 of the 11 screens are in use and have seating for 120, 150 and 310.

I used to go to this theater when it was part of Harkins theater chain. It is in the heart of downtown Tempe off Mill Ave. I watched Forrest Gump at this theater. Glad they are reopening it again as a theater. Nice facility.
