The Park Theatre was opened on December 23, 1911 and closed as a theatre in 1935. It then operated in several uses, including a print works, until 1980, when it fell into disrepair.

It was re-opened as a movie theatre on January 29, 2010. It shows both mainstream films and independant films. We are still working to try to get back as a single screen.
