The Sherman Drive-In opened in 1965 as a single screen ozoner. Car capacity was listed at 1,300 cars. At this time it was operated by Indianapolis Theatres. By the early-1970’s two more screens were added and it was then operated by United Artists Theatres.
The Sherman Drive-In closed in the late-1980’s and has since been demolished.
