A cursory view of both the ornate exterior and ample lobby of the Old Mill Playhouse suggest that the theatre was built during the early twentieth century. The elaborate design is a continuation of the architectural theme of the Lake Sumter Landing Market Square shopping center (circa 1997). The theatre features six state of the art large screen auditoria with stadium style seating.

If you go to the Map, the Theater is about 3 blocks East of the Red Dot.
Opened ~2005? Can anyone verify the exact date?

Although I could not find any definitive record as to the official opening date of the theatre I did find a mention of the site in an article published in 1997. Here are some exterior and interior photos of the theatre from 2010:
