The Elite Theatre was opened in the early-1930’s as a single screen theatre with seting listed at 275.

In 1998 the theatre was renovated by Magic Lantern Theatres and two additional screens were added bringing the seating total to 505.

It is operated by Magic Lantern Theatres showing first run attractions.

Any further information on the Elite would be appreciated.
