Open ~1935-~1950? Can anyone verify the exact dates?

Owned by E.E. Lutz 1940-1950.

Need an address, more info and photos are always welcome.

The American was located in the same block as the Rex Theatre at the south end of the block. The address was 505 W. Main St.

From the 1920s a busy street scene along with a banner pointing to the American Theatre in Borger.
