Located in the west Adelaide suburb of Torrensville. The Star Theatre was opened in March 1916. It was operated by the Clifford Theatres/Star Theatres chain.
Re-named Plaza Theatre in 1937, it continued as a cinema until at least 1957. In 2011, it is operating as the Mile End Office Furniture store.
