This non-descript box, built on the site of the former, imposing Century’s Shore by Cineplex Odeon, opened in 1998. Construction was suspended for a period because of financial difficulties experienced by C.O. Accordingly, some of the original architectural details, such as a marquee, were not included. There was, however, a Cineplex Odeon vertical which is still in place, albeit unlit. The lobby is spacious and includes a large game area. The box office is now also there after a drunk driver trashed the one in front.
Unless you know where it is you’re likely to pass it during evening hours.

During the period when construction was suspended I was able to observe the structural steel and see how the theatres were actually nested over several levels. From the street the auditoriums did not appear to be large (I’ve never been inside), but the lobby takes up a significant portion of the footprint Another one of those times I wished I’d had a camera or a camera phone with me.
