This theatre was operated by Loews Theatres, opening in 1989. It was located in the Pentagon City Mall. It was closed on January 1, 2003 and replaced by a Forever 21 clothing store. The theatre was unable to be converted to stadium seating since it was located in the basement of the mall and the roof heights were a little bit lower than typical theatres. It was in a competitive zone with Regal Potomac Yards 16. It had six screens each with a different name (similar to AMC Union Station 9). Also differentiating itself from other locations there were several different designs in each auditorium. For example there were different surround speakers used in multiple auditoriums, different wall covering, and different colored seats.

I only ever saw two movies here: “The Mask”, and many years later, “Die Another Day”.
A few months after that I was at the mall and said “Hey, maybe I’ll watch a movie.” Followed by “WTF is this???”
