Opened in 1999, the theater was operating as the Destinta Plaza East 22 when Destinta decided to cease operations in the greater Pittsburgh area. It was reopened after a few days' closure in 2012 by Knoxville, TN-based Phoenix Big Cinemas as the North Versailles Stadium 18.

It is my inadvertent error, but this entry actually duplicates the theater currently listed as the Destinta North Versailles (http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/38191); it was operating at the time of the transfer to Phoenix Big Cinemas as the Destinta Plaza East 22; I should have looked at the addresses.
